Exhibition text
CINEMA TICK TACK presents Arcana, a solo screening by the French artist Sybil Montet.
Arcane features the work I SCRY paired with Geomancy, alongside newly commissioned generative Arcana interludes, created in collaboration with videogen.ai, made especially for CINEMA TICK TACK.
Montet’s I SCRY—a work steeped in post-digital mysticism—unfolds as a speculative ritual, exploring the interface between ancient esoteric systems and synthetic vision. Geomancy, by contrast, offers a more spatial and meditative inquiry into encoded natural systems. The Arcana Interludes, Montet’s first moving image works made with AI, act as contemplative windows into the pulses of a trembling world—silent yet resonant, placed between the films to allow for moments of atmospheric pause and reflection.
Projected daily from Sunset to Sunrise (CET) on TICK TACK’s street-facing façade and streamed online, Arcana continues the institution’s interest in cinema as both public encounter and spatial intervention.

Bio
Sybil Montet is a French artist and 3D director whose work probes the spiritual edges of emerging technologies. Through oneiric figures, she questions the ways in which these tools shape our collective unconscious.
She crafts a fictional, critical cosmos—fusing science fiction, fantasy, and mysticism—via CGI, sculpture, painting, and experimental AI.
Trained in high jewelry at École Boulle-Louvre and in special effects at SAE Paris, she later taught herself 3D and digital sculpture, developing a singular approach. Her work has been exhibited internationally, notably at Honor Fraser Gallery in Los Angeles, Sun Ke Villa in Shanghai, Paris Internationale 2024, HEK – House of Electronic Arts in Basel, Kunstverein Freiburg; and BlackBox in Tokyo. Leading her own 3D animation studio, she creates commissioned works for ballet, fashion, and the music industry. Her work has been featured in publications such as Flash Art, Cura Magazine, Metal Magazine, Numéro Art, Fisheye Immersive, and the digital platform of Fondazione Prada. She is currently preparing upcoming international exhibitions (US / Asia / Eu) while developing Orgone, her next immersive project combining moving images and interactivity.
